The US Department of Agriculture is investing $550 million for projects that will help underserved producers get access to capital, land, and markets. This means funding to provide underserved producers with technical assistance they need as well as tools and resources.
$300 million of the total amount will go towards market access projects, capital and increasing land. The USDA will accomplish this through partnerships with organizations to develop projects that will increase capital, access to land, and markets.
The application deadline for market access, capital, and increasing land project is October 28, 2022. Register for a USDA webinar happening October 20th at 2pm EST that will address all questions about this program. Register here for the webinar.
